QQ someone brought it to my attention that refreshing a sandbox should be completed after 24 hours of the last change in production. The observation was that the sandbox only captured changes in production from Midnight the night before... Anyone had this experience? I have not. Appreciate any feedback.

If you really need the data to be up-to-date as possible, yeah I'd wait at least overnight from the last thing in Prod you need to have in your SB refresh. 24 hours is probably a bit much, but would definitely ensure you get all your data.
