Hi guys... Quick and very basic question... When is COGS calculated? Let's say I created a Sales Order in June, but the Item Fulfillment is created one month later and we are using Average Cost. Is COGS calculated based in the IF date, right?

Yes. Also just a quick tip: do your absolute best not to backdate Inventory Transactions. It causes the system to recalc costs and can turn in to a mess. Backdate meaning don't date your IF a month ago. Or even a day ago if you can help it.

Hi, The estimated COGS on the sales orderline is from the time you entered the order. The actual cost is dervied from the item fulfillment, see the GL Impact. So you can not make reports based on sales order lines to get correct gross margins.
