Anything known in NetSuite to lock a transaction form? If I display a new field and save the form....it saves, but the form is not updated to display what I had checked. To clarify, after saving and then editing the form again, it is as if I never checked that field.

not clear exactly what are you saying, are you trying to edit the form record it self or the transaction?

Sorry. The custom form I am editing. Select a checkbox to display a random field. Hit save, and then edit the custom form again... and the checkbox I selected is not checked.

use the field's validation & defaulting setting and may also need to look at sourcing & filtering options. That is where you define how the custom fields react, not in the form. Also try using the setting "save form with record"

I figured it out. Some odd NetSuite supplied bundle specific to Food and Beverage. Had to generate a new form based on the bundle locked form.
