Thanks for the suggestions @Sam-I-Am I've been referencing BFO's references, but since it sounds like it is based on Freemarker, that will be a good resource to have. I use IntelliJ for the coding, but good suggestion on Dreamweaver. Do you find that Dreamweaver's preview of XML matches fairly well with what is generated in Netsuite?
