We have a custom record type with several fields, one of which is lookup to EMPLOYEE. Is it possible to restrict it so that an employee in a given role can see ONLY the records which are populated with themselves in that field? Edit - I see there is an “APPLY ROLE RESTRICTIONS” option on the field: However, I’m not sure where to select that it applies to a particular role. Hi @Cory Weiner this checkbox will use the restrictions subtab on the role the user is currently using So if that custom field is using the Department list and the user has a restriction on their role of “own and subordinates only” then they can only see instances of these custome records that have their same department set If you want you would check that box on the field then make sure the role for the employee has the “restrict employee fields” box checked
