@chris you cannot move or delete a subsidiary if there are any transactions, if there are no transactions you can delete it. I have moved subsidiaries by contacting NS support and presenting my business case for reasoning, once satisfied they enabled the parent subsidiary field for edit (30 days). Only case they will allow if the base currency of the subsidiary and the new parent subsidiary/consolidation are the same. I hope this helps you.
