Defect #676224 : custom records missing from Global Search.  Just in case anyone else is tracking.

We’re also experiencing this issue. Noob question but can I view the status of this Defect anywhere?

they don’t let people search/monitor defects, because then people would realise how much crap is broken and taking ages to be fixed

It looks like our issues are now resolved

btw, we managed to “fix” the issue by editing the custom record, unchecking “INCLUDE IN GLOBAL SEARCH” saving, editing again, re checking the box and saving again

almost like it forced NetSuite to rebuild the search indexes for that custom record type, crazy

so if you’re desperate and need some more important custom records to be searchable in the mean time <@U4TPAFXEC> give that a go and let me know, interested to see how it behaves in your instance
