Any recommendation for a bundle that can do document management/versioning control?

I doubt anything like this exists, unless you custom built or integrate document management systems (DMS) like Documentum, opentext, Alfresco or even Sharepoint.

Versioning control for the documents or for your NetSuite system as a whole? If the former then there's a whole bunch of them. Box is the one the comes to mind first that I've seen a lot of but do a quick search and there's a whole bunch of them. The latter is a bit tricky as @Sam-I-Am alluded to, but there's a few out there that kind of get you close in that they monitor what's going on. I don't have a ton of experience with them, but I've seen ads from strongpoint and others promising this kind of visibility for whatever that's worth.

Documents - word. Not NS. Basically, we want to use DocuSign and need to ensure we're using the most up-to-date docs.

Doesn't docusign have a NetSuite bundle or plug-in of some kind? Are you using/have you explored that?

Dcousign itself doesn't have built in version control i.e. document lifecycle, You may need use their contract lifecycle management suite to have that feature, which used to be SpringCM before Docusign bought them in 2018. I have implemented and used it extensively but not fond of it. You can try other CLM platforms like Juro, Concord, Gatekeeper(built for Netsuite) etc and integrate them with Netsuite. Note all these platforms comes with unlimited electronic signature unlike Docusign.

Interesting. They didn't mention contract life cycle management. Maybe I ask why you were not fond of it? I'm assuming CLM is electronic signature plus some versioning control?

CLM ( Contract lifecycle management) is not only used for versioning, also for red lining, contract assembly from legal snippets, approval process, expiry tracking, collaboration, review etc. Please google Contact Management for detail what these software can do
