Hey everyone, I am training a large group of brand new NetSuite users. If you had to suggest one resource to learn NetSuite 101, what would it be? TIA

Ryan, I am new to our Netsuite admin team. I was given access to the Netsuite learning portal. It is great, but super expensive for our small company, where we have < 100 employees on Netsuite. So, I am simply creating my own training with screencasts based on the Netsuite training. I also like Udemy.com, but found they don't offer anything useful for Netsuite. Might not be exactly what you were looking for, but I will be interested to hear what others are doing. Good Luck! M.

You are on your own on this, you can try downloading's the user guides from help section (all users have access to these through help section - click the user guides). There are many user role and task specific guides in there. I started writing a NS user guide (cliff's notes kind) few years back, which is still in progress due to lack of free time, also few of us wanted to collaborate on creating Udemy courses based our collective knowledge - same issue lack of time. If community shows any interest then I might restart the project.

Hi Ryan, How goes the training work? Will you be using a LMS for your project? We used the WP Courseware Wordpress plugin for the training website at my last job. I am recommending my new employer use this or similar. I am just curious how you plan to house and present the material? Thanks - have a good day.

Hey @Michael Mariani, It;โ€™s going well thanks for asking! What is LMS? Also can you send a link for the wordpress plugin? Havenโ€™t heard of this before. I am recording all these internal sessions for our company and sharing across teams. All these internal sessions are zoom calls with the large group Iโ€™m training. We use an internal document systems for storing all the material and also use slack.

The LMS allows you to organize the content and add quizzes/exams. All good training stuff. https://flyplugins.com/wp-courseware/ The plug in was picked because it was inexpensive and got the job done. There may be more robust solutions and probably more expensive. We also added a leadership board plug to add some gamification to the mix.
