The scenario is common: Sold Professional Services and RA is on HOLD. Now it's time to release and do we need to manually go into each Revenue Recognition Plan and uncheck the box: HOLD REVENUE RECOGNITION? Or is there a way to mass update, csv upland, or inline edit...?

Transactions > Financial > Edit Revenue Recognition Plans, in Status box select On Hold, uncheck the box manually.
and may I just ask - why would you be setting rev plans on hold (unless customer is in bankruptcy)?

All PS lines are set to hold until the services are used and customer has signed off. Then the revenue team will go in and release the hold on the line
They know how to do it manually, but they were hoping it could be done through a CSV upload to record
You can't do a CSV upload to RA/RE that I can figure
Ideally, Services should trigger from fulfillment record and then this resolves the issue, but currently they have only a single revenue rule triggering on SO.

there is a better way to spent time by revenue team. no, you cannot upload it. you have to uncheck it manually. it is done for the reason, this functionality by no means should be used in this manner.

That's what I told them and they have 359 RA lines to release. We have had a big turn over of staff so the new staff are wondering why they were doing it this way as well. So better days on the horizon but need to get past this month end first with new Revenue Team.
