Is there any workaround (besides creating a new location) to be able to turn off bins at a location level where transactions completed years ago had bins on them. Im getting this error: You cannot disable the use of bins because items at this location are associated with bins or because bins are used on a completed or pending transaction at this location.

The only settings I know of to turn off bins is on the item or on the location I’m pretty sure the only option is to create a new location in your case. At least you can do csv imports to transfer the items between locations easier

Why not inactivate the bins and then they will not show up anymore?

@Michael McNamara I think terry means turn off the Use Bins feature for that specific location. Every transaction is probably requiring them to set a bin location and they don’t want that I don’t think they are trying to remove bin locations from the list of available bins

Yes, but we could remove them, if it meant being able to turn it off

That would be first to transfer inventory. Then you might have more control over the setting.
