Most of the US chocolate taste like puke due to Butyric acid in them. That's why I prefer British or Canadian Cadbury's than the US ones.

Our family are big fans of ALDI chocolates. Don’t know who makes them, but they are so much better than Hershey’s.

Aldi tends to be my go to for food now. I shop there before I go to other grocery stores if I need more unique stuff.

They have one of the best pricing and business model - that is why they expanded big time in EU then in USA. Wish they come to Canada

Love Aldi, they even have the Live Gfree stuff now for gluten-sensitive people, which saves us tons of money. Most gluten free products elsewhere are triple the price

It's crazy how a honeycrisp apple can't selfsustain either. You can't grow anything with their seeds and they need other types of apples to pollenize them.

Most edible apples come from mutant trees with three or four chromosomes, so their pollen is worthless

We have some many flavors and orchards around me. It's kinda nice.

I tend to buy the the orchard run apples (all varieties) straight from. They might not be shiny and pretty still has dirt and leaves attached to them, they taste wonderful and they do actually rots unlike waxed kind that just shriveled over time. Every summer I go to Okanagan valley for eating the best fruits - apple, pears, peaches, plums and best cherries in the world. Driving 4 hours is worth it. Being close to the source both Okanagan and Washington tend to get better quality fruits than other places in North America.
