Does the permission Allow Non GL Impacting Changes work on the role? It is not allowing me to change any record. The only way it works is if I select Allow Non GL Impacting Changes on the Period in Manage Accounting Periods

It works on the role, but it works in conjunction with that box on the Accounting Period. Even if you have the permission, you won't be able to do anything unless someone checks that box on the period. Hate to use NS support lingo, but it's "working as designed."
