So looks like our previous consultant who provisioned a search in our Item 360 Subtab has a divide by zero error. However, they locked it so i cant modify it. How do i either: 1. Add my fixed search to the Entry form? 2. unlock their search so i can edit it?

You won't be able to do #2. For #1 it's under customization - forms - sublists. Then choose the item tab and you'll see the sublists for Item360. Find the one that matches the broken search and change the search in the left hand column to your new one. All the above assumes you're in the administrator role.

you might also double check your agreement with the consultant. Your company should own the copyright on any code you paid a consultant to write, and hence they should unlock it for you and/or provide the complete source code.
