Hi, does anyone know what the field 'Notes' in the sublist 'Workflow History' on a record's system information subtab does? I can't find any documentation or info about it.

It logs notes on certain actions, typically things done manually to the workflow instance execution. e.g. you can see here where I cancelled this workflow and it logged a note:
