Just getting started with a SuiteAnalytics Workbook and carrying over my knowledge of Saved Searches. Starting with a simple workbook of Doc Number, Amount, & a custom category field we have. I added

Transaction Line: Amount (Net)

field, however all of the amounts are negative. Why is the line item amount negative, when it should be positive?

I think it depends on your doc type. IIRC the amounts in Transaction Line are just negative if they're credits. So it would make sense if you're pulling invoice lines since they're credits. Try joining to the Transaction Accounting Line join. It has Debit Amount, Credit Amount, etc which may be more familiar to you

. I can see that there are other options, but the debit/credit both reference foreign amounts when I click the info

I meant this one, which has fields that I think are a little more analogous to Saved Searches. Still possible there could be some weird negatives though.

I got lazy and just made a formula in the dataset with ABS() and named it the value (quantity for example).
