does anyone have experience using Approval Rules? i am trying to add a few 100 approval rules and since the bundle is locked these records can’t be updated by csv import. is there another way to update them through the API?

No, you need to enter them in manually. I worked on a project where I had to handkey over 600 rules. I looked for any other way but it had to get done manually
