How do you do deassembly in NetSuite? For example if you buy a whole chicken and make tender, thighs and wings, 

Also pricing varies by market price daily. So what should be the costing method and how would you transacte? 

In theory you can use the netsuite transaction to disassemble the item but the costing is gonna be all wrong

I'd have to do some kind of custom transaction that creates an inventory adjustment via script to do this

Hmm it's also tricky because the same chicken is used in different places because you get wings, thighs, tenders from same chicken so not sure how to scrap / what to scrap and when to scrap

Have your tried "Assembly Unbuild" transaction? Theoretically, if you have a FG in stock with BOM structure defined as you suggested, then unbuild should disintegrate into its components.

This is on going process not one time thing 

Parity didn't work, they worked in the past with them and something didn't flow
