For those who have been experiencing issues with the Rich Text editor since the 2022.1 upgrade, NetSuite got back to me saying the following:

Regarding the concern, our engineers said that in 22.1 there has been an update to version of CK editor, which causes this behaviour.

Unfortunately, in CK editor 4, this cannot be disabled via configuration and is a fact of life.
This has majorly broken a couple of our customisations.... we’ve already had to shift team effort around as a result for the past two months. I’m livid. How can they choose to use a tool that doesn’t work and then claim it’s a “fact of life”?
