With OneWorld turned on, do custom records get a
subsidiary
field?
a
subsidiary field is not mandatory in custom records, so you have to add it by yourself.
j
I don’t see a checkbox to enable it?
You mean it would just be a custom field? That doesn’t seem particularly helpful — we might want to restrict certain records to one subsidiary (not the whole record type, certain records within a custom record type)
k
If you add a custom field to the list I believe you can apply restrictions based on it

I may be remembering incorrectly, but I'm thinking like 40% sure that you can
I'm not in front of my computer so I can't look right now.

You are correct. Thank you so much!

@jen moving to oneworld from non-oneworld can be daunting.
j
we are not having a fun time, that’s for sure

what are the main challenges during the conversion to OW? Soon I'll have such process also.

They have gotten much better than it used to be. Items, taxes, custom records, permissions are the areas I would highlight and test in sandbox extra thoroughly
