Could be that its not populated? Some fields aren't exposed so you'd need to create a custom field that either sources that value or use the default value syntax {<field_id_here>} and a free-text field. You could then pull in that custom field that exposes the data.

Yeah. Thanks @creece . That's what I ended up doing, although ideally, I don't like to do that. Also it isn't a fool proof system without adding scripts. For example if you copy an estimate, it will have the value of the original person who created the first one and opposed to the copier.
