Does anyone have a solution to email the BOM pdf from a work order using a workflow?

I think if you use the Send email action and the “Include transaction” checkbox it sends the BOM

Unfortunately, I tried that, but I'm getting an invalid PDF. The BOM prints fine from the print BOM button, it just won't take in the email.
