For those of you who are working in larger companies that use Netsuite, what other systems have you considered in terms of outgrowing Netsuite as an ERP platform?

At my previous company, we used Netsuite and had an employee count just shy of around a thousand and didnt bump into any issues that I can recall. What makes you feel like larger companies outgrow Netsuite?

Thanks for the feedback @Boris Barrera how about in terms of volume of transactions? This is just in relation to future planning and considerations. We probably won’t outgrow NS in the next 3-5 yrs but it is always good to plan for future growth and scalability.

I've been at some good size companies where we were doing 10s of thousands of transactions a day in NetSuite. It handled it pretty well. The only real complaint I had was that transaction lists took a while to load and that was annoying, but searching and querying and whatnot handled just fine.

Most of our EDI was large Amazon orders, thousands of lines. I never liked those orders just because NetSuite doesn't handle large amounts of lines very well. We had SCA and quite a few other websites bringing in a lot of orders. Those were bringing in around 10,000 orders a day though all of the web service integrations.
