Is there a solution to employee records with the same name?

Do you mean in the sense you cannot save them? Or to make them appear different on Lists?

Try adding a prefix or suffix such as employee number from HRIS or payroll system in their name.

Netsuite allows to have several employee records with the same name. If you can't do that in your environment then it could mean that some custom solutions are applied or maybe SuitePeople prevents that if you have such.
