extending Backbone view in SCA still fine? Or is there any other method? I am using SCA 2021.1

If you're creating a new view then we would recommend you use SCView, but if you really want to extend Backbone.View then you can.

Make Sense. Last One.. I am using extensibility API as much as possible, but in case for any versions if it's not available in that case I can use Models? For example '*UserProfile Component*' seems to be not available in few versions of SCA so I am  using *ProfileModel.getInstance()* to get some user data????
