question.. can you have a client script run on an external form without a script deployment for that client script ? i am second guessing myself….

it doesnt need to be a record level client script, but it does need to be form level

ok so this is the recap.. I found that this script created by a previous admin , quite a while back. was executing a saved search to validate there are not duplicate entries before submitting.  I disabled that saved search and the form submitted perfectly. i am not sure if that needs to be added back in but it will probably need another approach instead of an open client script.
