How to apply the same standard cost of an item to all locations? Mass update? CSV? Script? Item master has the standard cost held at each location. We populated it for one location but will now need it at all locations. Will be the same value. How to? Thanks!

You can do a CSV import to update the item standard cost at each location. There is no button anywhere that says "duplicate 1 location's standard cost to all locations" if that's what you're asking.

You have boiled my question down to its essence. The answer about using CSV is a good one and consistent with some other forms I have posted on. The challenge will be to pick the item location combination that has the correct standard. That being said I'm pretty sure that's an Excel exercise we can do Thank you. Do you have an example template that you use in this instance for CSV import? One frustration I have with netsuite is that there is not an export option that is equivalent of each import such that I could just follow that format. I feel like that could avoid a lot of upload errors.

Ability to export a template, isn't that a logical idea?! lol... For the STD cost update, it's pretty straightforward though. Columns for Item ID, Locations, and STD Cost are really all you need. Since your cost is the same, you can just use one column for that.
