Has anyone ever had an issue with being able to edit revenue elements post-sandbox refresh? We refreshed last week and ever since we have been unable to edit any revenue elements (old or new), even using the admin role. We can get into the arrangement and click edit but all of the data on the elements is greyed out. Scripts that run as admin can't even edit them. We have a case open with NetSuite but thought I'd check here as well.

Seems like a script or workflow greying out the fields.
Did you try disabling all the UE scripts and Workflows on the record and see if it works?

Are you talking about the element line on the arrangement or the element record itself
I don't remember ever being able to modify the element line other than start/end dates and some of the accounts, etc. Always had to delete the line and regenerate to fix half that stuff.

Yes, I've tried disabling all scripts and workflows. It's when we are editing the element line on the arrangement (not the element itself) and you are right that there are only some fields that are normally editable like start/end dates, rev rule, reference ID, custom fields, etc. NetSuite support still hasn't been able to figure out the issue.
quick update on this in case anybody else has a similar issue in the future. i've found the root cause and have raised a defect with netsuite to investigate. if you create a list/record transaction column field and apply it to revenue arrangements you are no longer able to edit any revenue element fields. my workaround was to convert the field from a list/record field to a free-text field. not ideal but at least revenue elements can be edited now.

That must have been a fun one to figure out.
Reminds me of when Work Orders were not being automatically generated, but only in the instance where a PO line, a WO line, and discount line were on the same order. Thanks NS!

That's a major defect! They should fix it right away...

oh ya. netsuite's engineers couldn't figure out what was going on so i gave up and just refreshed our sandbox again. i was able to edit revenue elements right after the refresh but then re-deployed something i was working on and all of a sudden i couldn't edit them. so i was able to narrow it down to that new custom list/record (item) field that caused the problem.
