Recently delved into a couple implementations of the MRP. • Flexibility into the planning (planned order you can edit before creating real orders - think of it like editing the supply plan directly) • Aggregation of Transfer Order lines into a single document (DRP was 1 line per TO) • Pegging insights: ability to drill down into the requirements more • Exceptions/Actions selectable as filters within the workbench instead of hoping the old alerts wee setup correctly • Can segregate Work Order planning times from routings • 21.1 will add consideration of blanket PO releases • Major hang-up is there is no reporting, quite a bit of data setup to fully utilize the tool
