I believe its just the standard tax setup - nothing custom like avalara or suitetax

Should using 3rd party tax remove the fields from use? I know I can get overall order tax from the transactionline table, but I expecting to be able to get a breakdown of tax by line from somewhere

<@UBBEVDTQS> I think where things are stored does depend on what you're using to handle sales tax. I see differences between SuiteTax, AvaTax, and TaxJar. There seems to be no consistency.

Thanks <@U856E2SEA> certainly seems that way. I guess due to the different nexusnon transaction to transaction it's not easily accessible - I still thought there would be a transaction tax table visible that would do the linking. Hopefully in a new release...
I can only resort to loading the transaction and sourcing - which is so inefficient

You might want to see if the instance you're working in has a "transactiontaxdetail" table.
