We are trying to bill certain orders up front (eg. PayPal) from our Commerce web store. I do not want to enable the dreaded "Invoice in Advance of Fulfillment" check box since we do not want all our orders to bill up front. I have gone around with Support and ACS on this and they have not been able to find any solution. Has anyone else run into this type of situation and been able to find a solution? Thanks.

@Eric Roelofs - are you saying you want to have delayed rev rec (vs billing)?

Normally, we do not create a Cash Sale until an order is Fulfilled. For certain orders, like if they pay with PayPal, we want to bill them up front and create that Cash Sale at the point of sale versus after fulfillment

We are not using Subscription Billing. These are for single orders.

Oh, this channel lis for subscription billing, no? still, A script is the likely solution for you here since you do not want manually separating your orders and there isn’t another feature with the direct revenue rec that would do that..
