Because of some issues with Shopify and Avalara regarding inclusive tax on products sold in the UK, we’ve had to turn off tax calculation for UK VAT and have taken the approach of creating a UK VAT Tax Code with a 20% tax rate and updated the tax code for customers with this new UK VAT Tax Code. We’re trying to update (via script) the lines on the invoices that previously had AVATAX as the tax code to the new UK VAT tax code and it updates the record. However, when someone goes in and updates that record manually or even if a process goes in to update the record, it shows 0 tax calculation on the total box. Has anyone run into this issue and found a way to solve it?
