Has anyone got experience connecting to PowerBI through REST services?

I haven't integrated one yet but PowerBI SuiteAnalytics Connect works good for me. Do you plan to integrate with REST services with the SuiteQL functionality

Thanks @darrenhillconsulting, @クリスピポテト Yes plan on integrating PowerBI with REST services using the SuiteQL functionality. I am able to pull some data into postman from a demo netsuite account using a POST request but having a bit of trouble with the PowerBI side of things.

Power BI should be able to handle it anyways you just have to programattically genarate your authorization in Power BI

Do you know if this is different to using the header parameters when you setup a web connection in PowerBI?

You could save yourself a bunch of time but NOT using RESTlets. You'll run into timeouts and dataset result limits quickly. Not mention you'll need to use a deprecated way of authentication

Thanks @darrenhillconsulting, I have used SuiteAnalytics Connect ODBC previously with multiple applications: Excel, QlikView, Tableua etc but always find the performance of it to be pretty slow which is why I've gone down the REST route.

Using the REST API instead of the RESTlets should be more flexible at least but you have to work on either having a OAuth 2.0 or OAuth 1.0 based header generation on your PowerBI
