@SSif you are going to build out any additional integrations in the future (which usually becomes the case), I would suggest going ahead and getting an iPaaS solution (something like Jitterbit or Boom - definitely suggest Jitterbit over Boomi). That will run as middle ware and allow you to handle any authentication, encryption, data transformations, etc... with ease.

Please don't invest time/money into middlware. You'll regret it. Just one more bill, one more complexity and one more thing to fail. It you can find a 'point-2-point' solution ... find someone to build you one.

Have to disagree... Good iPaaS solutions are very valuable. Jitterbit makes integrations seamless and allows you to let non-technical people admin them. Very beneficial. Boomi, is a little more odd, and not as easy for a non-technical person to run (but they still could). Celigo, is junk, and acts like a virus in the end systems... lol
d
lol.
@Charles.Bastian, do you work for Jitterbit?
c
Nah, I used to, after using their software for a few years. It's great software, that is simple to use and does the job. Boomi does the job as well; but, you can tell it was made by Dell... lol

I've used Boomi and Workato; both do a good job of abstracting away a lot of pretty tough development (speaking as a non-dev). I found the boomi interface to be very intuitive but I haven't really had much of a go with jitterbit so can't comment on the comparison.

Yeah, I'm sure it I used Boomi as long as I've used Jitterbit, that it would all be very intuitive... Just started with Boomi, though... 🙂
