Hi all, We would like to confirm if it is possible to make a bin non-nettable - in other words, we want to just use some bins only for storing trash or unusable inventory. We do not want those inventory to be available for fulfillment. The reason we are trying to do this is to eliminate certain locations in our NetSuite backend which were created for the same reason - i.e. to store trash inventory. However, if the same functionality is available even in bins then we would rather just take that approach, instead of creating locations specific for trash/unusable inventory.

Not possible with bins alone, I'm afraid.

I would think a separate location is actually the best solution

Inventory Status could be used and could separate out the trash/unusable inventory within locations as well as bins. However, if you currently aren't using that feature the overhead and additional effort may not be worth it. If enabled a status would need to be selected for all inventory transactions, including good inventory.
