04/13/2021, 11:40 PMbut, i see it works only if the period format is not in calaendar months. Ours is not fiscal, it is calendar based accounting.

04/13/2021, 11:46 PMactually it works very well with the calendar months. what it does is it post depreciation for the period with the date of the last day of the month even if a transaction is created in the middle of the month, say, today. Essentially, if you know you are not going to create any assets until May you can post a journal today, it will be dated 4/30 and will calculate full month of depreciation. Any subsequent journals will only capture additional depreciation for assets added between today and last day of the month

04/13/2021, 11:59 PMif you want to use reports - no, nothing else works. Keep in mind, there is not field Period in FAM, just the date. You can use searches of the same caliber and add filter Period there

04/21/2021, 1:27 AMHi Karina, i tried to run the standard “FAM Asset Register Rep Line Search” and “FAM Asset Register” saved searches. Both are not showing the data in the results. I didn’t add any fields. I just tried to run the standard saved searches but, it shows no results. It would be great if you can please help with this. Thanks
