@MaryPeace I would reach out to Netsuite support on this one. One thing that you could try is the depreciation history. You could grab the Transaction amount on the Sale/Disposal type of the FAM Depreciation History record. See screenshot below. For us, this is the NBV before the sale/disposal writes it down to 0.00.

Thanks Roy! I was trying to avoid dealing with the Depr history records, but did reach out to NS support as you suggest. Hopefully they have a simply solution, as this is something that our auditors will request every year.
