I was trying to use a CSV import (FAM Asset) to update the Current NBV on the asset record. The CSV says all updates occurred successfully, but then when I go to the record nothing is changed. System notes don't even show my import.

you might need to update accumulated depreciation - from memory, NBV is a calculated field on the asset record
Note you'll also need to update depreciation history records

CUMULATIVE DEPRECIATION is an inline field and seems to update based on current NBV (which is manually editable).

luckily this is all in Sandbox for now, but I am a little concerned it told me 95 records were updated butI am not seeing the change

Uploading to the depreciation history worked just fine

just got to figure out why the asset itself isn't updating

Update the 'FAM Asset Values' record rather than the fixed asset itself with the NBV. This is where the NBV is actually stored - I have ran into the same issue where either in the import/UI I enter the Fixed Asset NBV on the asset record, it allows me to save but is immediately set to empty
I got on a call with the ACS rep and she had me run it again and it worked (of course)
I am not sure if I accidentally clicked and clicked the "trigger server scripts" box in CSV import.
