@Suitestallion - check two fields: Asset Status (header) must be Depreciating (new) and on General middle column Depreciation Active must be Treu
s
Yes they both are there. Status is depreciating and depreciation is Active
k
are the depreciation dates valid?
on those assets?
s
which date?
They all depreciated fine last month, its this month it's having the issue
k
are you saying that this is first month that for some unknown reason some assets do not depreciate?
s
yes
k
hmm… . one of my customers is having issues as well
i though it was localized
s
hmm maybe not, I looked at those things you told me there is a check list on SuiteAnswer to verify to ensure it depreciates and I checked that.
k
yes, I will be looking into this tomorrow.. the screenshot looks correct, it should depreciate, no reason not to
😞
s
uh oh
thanks
let me know what you find out
k
yep, will do..
UW
s
i am breaking my head with this thing. Fixed Asset is not my strong point but it's not that complicated anyway, so i am like what the heck am i missing here.
k
i am ok with that, not a problem, but on my end right now I only have production, not SB to test for this customer..
s
sure let me know when you have a minute to look at it, or I can open a support case and see what happens
we only have basic support so NS Support is hit and miss in my case
When i Click on the detail on the process Status page, this is what i am seeing.
not sure if there is anything wrong here
k
yes, that means FAM thinks depreciation is not needed for this asset
wait a minute
check answer ID 83188
see if that might work for you..
i would check that 50190 first
s
those are the same checklist as in 78584, but will take another look to see whats going on.
Triggering the Asset Reset Process this was the issue, there were lots of changes to that asset and reset was not done, so need to set Dep Active to False, reset the process and set that back to true and re run the dep. and it works
k
oh, man, that’s the worst… . when things happen but you know nothing about it
s
I asked them many different ways but I guess must have slipped their mind.
