@blue, is your custodian an employee who ordered the asset?

Maybe in some cases but mostly I don't think so. I think the client just wants to make the process of FA data inputting faster. I'm planning to tell them that this is probably not practicable since it's not even likely that they can get and input the serial# when they make the PO. But I just want to make sure if the Custodian field can be exposed if needed and autofilled when proposed as a fixed asset so I can give them a definite answer.

@blue - well, your custodian field comes with employees listing. If you have them on PO (particularly, if you are using employee center) you can take it all the way to FAM. If not, perhaps another field will suffice.
