when i upload mid life depreciation history for april for an asset it does not show deprection info for jan-march. will those months data have to be imported via csv also or can the system be set up to do it automatically

did you run depreciation?

I had a similar(I think) problem. You might check in FAM module setup if this checkbox is checked:

if you want to depreciate your assets in NS in Jan-Mar you need to check that box highlighted above. Alternatively you need to add depreciation data via CSV

I imported assets by CSV in early April that needed to be depreciated as far back as May 2018. Until the highlighted box was checked, the monthly depreciation report was showing $0.00 for those assets for may 2018, June 2018, etc. Is this what you're seeing?

Not sure about “seeing”. What result are you trying to get? Are you planning to depreciate assets in NS for prior periods? If so you need to run depreciation for each period in question

on an assets Depreciation History it only shows the dpreciation for April and the upcoming months, not the previous months. Will those previous months have to be imported in or can I import april again, check the Run Server Scripts on CSV import box and the system will populate Jan-March for me?

are you period hard closed?
