Hello all, I'm needing some assistance with a CSV import. We are needing to update the item unit cost for line items in Inventory Adjustments. I'm having some trouble with updating the field. The error I'm getting is “Invalid item reference key for subsidiary 1”

What values do you enter for the item? Item Name/Number? Item Name/Number Display Name? Item External ID? Internal ID? Anyway, it would be best to just use Internal ID.

I tried Internal ID, Item Name, and Display Name. I have not tried External ID

Internal ID should work though (assuming all others are correct). Did you click the pencil icon next to that Internal ID CSV field and change the Reference Type to Internal ID? (Maybe a stupid question but sometimes people forget doing this extra step)

I'm guilty of that, but not this time. I tried using Add/ Update instead of Update. A new error popped up. Now it's asking for a Serial/ Lot Number. Unfortunately it's not an option to select from.

Make sure your item is available for the subsidiary that you are using i.e. Subsidiary 1 (internal ID, I guess)

try to do it manually first to make sure you don't have any issues there. Can you edit the adjustment and edit that cost manually? There are times where you can't

Sounds like one of the items you're trying to update has been inactivated.
