Thanks for the response btw, this is driving me nuts

@al3xicon Dang. I was hoping that would be it. What about the permission to that record type?
Not that I actually expect NetSuite has tied record permissions to CSV import permission in any way, but who knows.
a
Interesting thought, but it seems to happen with record types where I know the role has access
j
Access to workflows or script records, maybe? I could have sworn there was a solution to this.
Can’t hurt to drop a support ticket and see what they say if that’s not it.
a
I thought the same about scripts. But yeah, next step is a support case for sure. If they have a resolution I'll post it back here
k
What's the company preference for this?
I have hit this once before as well but I'm not remembering solution offhand...
I'll look in the morning
a
@KevinJ of Kansas thanks - do you mean the CSV import preference?
m
Take a look in Setup > Import/Export > CSV Import Preferences
a
@markderrick to my knowledge the preference there is a global setting for the checkbox on the page you mentioned; I am concerned with the ability to turn it on and off per-import, not to set it at a company/global level.
m
That’s what I thought too, but was more of a last case scenario 🙂
a
definitely - if it comes down to it, I can adjust the imports in question as an Administrator, but the boss wants other users to be able to control this in the future
So, it turned out that I had been looking at the wrong permission - Control SuiteScript a... Web Services Request vs Control SuiteScript a... CSV Imports
m
Ah! 🙂 I think we’ve all been there!
a
@markderrick - these days it doesn't bother me as much when I make a silly mistake - because at least that means I don't have to deal with NS support!
