FYI I only discovered this channel because of a discussion elsewhere…anyhow. The main issue is that we are losing valuable discussions when the history cuts off. However, I find searching in Slack while a little better than searching the forums, still isn’t the ideal way to find solutions. It kinda seems like if we are simply wanting a good “source” for examples / solutions / documentation (the kind that is lacking in the NS Help/SuiteAnswers/Forums), a Slack history isn’t necessarily the best format for that. Really we need some perfect combination of a well-organised, tagged/categorised wiki+comments AND related discussions. Not sure how best to achieve that.

I agree with @jen about the structured knowledge base type of platform where we can tag important responses for archiving and retrieval. I use to be quite active in NS official forum from (2009) but totally left after I joined Slack, because of the ease of use, quick response and volume of active members.
FYI - I talking to Oracle Area Manager to help/sponsor us to organize a local user group in Vancouver Canada.
