Hello, Group / Community. As some of you already know would be great if the Group can have his own Server with some Slack alternative. The best alternative I see is MatterMost because is open source, free (the Team edition) and would allow us to always have access to the message history and search back anything we may need. Besides this, having a Server would allow us to implement/create/install new services we may need, like a forum or a gitlab repo or anything we may find useful. A gofundme campaign was created to Pay for this Server with Mattermost ready to go for 2 years. I just think is fair to have a set of rules/guidelines to go with this transition/migration. <!here> 1- Fragmenting the community is not an option if more than 75-80% of the member does not agree to move we are not moving. 2- The structure remains the same (the owners and admins here) would be the owners and admins of the new server. 3- A poll should be created to gather votes for this move. 4- If somebody can contact Slack and ask for a special price for the group we may not even need to move but I highly doubt slack is going to give us something even near to 1200USD for 2 years.
