there is not, however you can do a script controlled field on that page which can only show you current/open periods on that custom scripted field, based on what you select there it will auto pick the default field (which would be hidden from users) @Amanda Rosiak

Is this still possible even if the Create Rev Rec JEs is actually a bulk processing page and is not record/form? I guess it will require a Suitelet then?
