well, even service items can be triggered by fulfillment - like prof services. the reason I asked is that you are limited on the item setting on that rev rec trigger. you have either billing or fulfillment, sounds like for the existing lines you have rev arr as a trigger ; new lines on the same SO will not create another reb arr, will not create anything at all.. thus, fulfillment comes to play
