also does anyone here know if you can create a revenue arrangement from multiple source transactions

hi @shamwow19 , is using the native merge arrangement functionality not feasible for whatever business case you are trying to satisfy? it is an UI driven process where you can filter and manually decide which arrangements should be merged.

nope got 100K transactions so manually doing it would not suffice

For multiple source transactions, not sure what you mean, do you mean you want to create one arrangement from different transaction types (i.e. multiple sales orders and returns generate ONE arrangement?)

well i really mean an arrangement from SO and an arrangement from subscription and then combine the 2

^ah, you are using NS subscription management. are subscriptions and sales orders represent duplicate performance obligations or complementary. What i mean is are your Sales orders representing a separate service/product delivered than the subscription? Sorry, just to trying to understand your business case.

we sell a subscription but along with the subscription is a hardware item. Hardware we recognize at fulfillment but subscription gets recognized when the subscription is activated. now i am trying to merge both of them together in 1 arrangement because it was (1 single performance obligation) and i need to run Fair Value formula on (hardware cogs - transaction total)= Fair value for subscription recognition

^I did not find any API calls for merging arrangements but that was from a quick pass at SuiteAnswers. Be curious if NS Support will have an answer.

so netsuite support got back to us and said there is no way but seems like my developer figured it out
