It’s a medium level endeavor if we are using generalities. You can elect to upgrade within the same NS environment and inherit most of the current configurations. Couple of things 1) know your new subsidiary structure ahead as best as possible. Where does the current (non-OneWorld sub) going to sit in the new hierarchy 2) whats going to be an operating subsidiary(full sub ledger with transactions) vs TB only subs 3) plan for eliminations, consolidations, base currencies, inter company transactions, etc 4) review current configurations and assess what will need to change. I’d equate it to a mini re-implementation, depending on the # of new subsidies, future state requirements, etc. Most of the companies I’ve ran across have about 15 -30 subsidiaries in multiple countries, and a few I have done subsidiaries hierarchy restructuring in a live system before. Definitely need dedicated eyes on the endeavor.
