I was wondering if anyone knew what permission I need to see the

System Notes

tab under

System Information

when I am looking at records in NetSuite. This is a screenshot from a user who has this ability, but I can't seem to find the difference in our permissions that would give me the ability to see these System Notes too.

Notes Tab permission perhaps?

That was a permission I didn't have before looking over the other user's permissions, but adding that permission didn't seem to give me the ability to see the System Notes.

Did you log out/back in again after changing permissions? You have to do so to have the changes take affect.

I did not try that, but I made these changes yesterday and have had to log back in since then. I will try intentionally logging out and back in though, maybe that will have a different effect.

Are you looking at the same record type as the user that can see system notes? Some custom records might not have system notes at all if that preference is not turned on within the custom record. I'm pretty sure if you have view access or higher for a record, and also have the Notes Tab permission, you should be able to see system notes.

Actually, sorry, I was looking at the production site where I haven't changed my permissions. Logging out and back in intentionally on the sandbox where I changed my permissions did work. Thank you!
